Samsung launched Galaxy Note 4 and Gear S in India on Tuesday. The company said that Galaxy Note 4 will be available on Friday, same day as Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Company also confirmed that Note 4 EDGE will also be launched in India but the time was not mentioned. The flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 4 is coming to India after its global launch at IFA 2014 in Berlin.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has MRP of Rs. 61,500, and will be available in market from Rs. 58,300. While the Gear S smartwatch will have an MRP of Rs. 29,500 and will be available in market from Rs. 28,900. It is notable that Samsung has set premium prices for their devices instead of tough competition from other companies.

Multi window option, Quad HD screen and the S pen Stylus makes the Galaxy Note 4 different from its rivals as well as Note3. It also comes with smart charging that lets you charge till 50 percent in 30 minutes. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 2.7GHz quad core Snapdragon processor with 3GB RAM. It has a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and 515ppi pixel density, 32GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB, 16MP rear camera with smart OIS, Fast AF, Live Rich tone HDR and 3.7MP front camera with f/1.9 lens. It has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS/GLONASS IR LED, MHL 3.0, Bluetooth v4.0 USB 2.0. It comes with accelerometer, gyroscope, RGB, IR-LED, hall sensor, proximity, geo-magnetic, UV, barometer sensors and finger scanner and heart rate monitor. Samsung has provided multi-window feature from use of the “recent” button. It is powered by 3220 mAh battery which supports fast charging.
The Tizen based Gear S allows users to make and receive calls on 2G and 3G. it also has Bluetooth 4.1, and WiFi connectivity. It has 2 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 360 x 480 pixels resolution and 300ppi pixel density. It has 1GHz dual core processor with 512MB RAM. It is boosted by 300 mAh battery and Accelerometer, compass, HRM, UV, Gyroscope, Barometer and Ambient Light sensors. A great thing about the Gear S is that it is IP67 certified water and dust resistant.
Samsung has launched both these devices right on the door of festive season in India and ready to face the challenge of Apple iPhone 6 Plus and other devices in the market.
