Root T Mobile Galaxy S5: Easy Method – The Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced last February 2014 and was released in April, 2014. The smartphone is 5.59 inch long x 2.85 inch wide x 0.32 inch thick. It weighs a mere 5.11 ounces.
It has a 5.1-inch capacitive super AMOLED display capable of showing 16 million colors. The mobile has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (432 pixels per inch density) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The smartphone came out with Android version 4.4.2 (KitKat) but can be upgraded to the lastest Marshmallow build (version 6.0). It has Samsung’s TouchWiz user-interface on top of the Android OS.
The Galaxy S5 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor. It has a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 central processing unit (CPU) and its graphics is handled by an Adreno 330 GPU.
The unit has 2 gigabytes of RAM and has 16 or 32 gigabytes of internal memory. It also has a MicroSD Card Slot which can accommodate up to 256 GB of external memory.
For the photography buffs, the mobile offers a back-facing 16 megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.2 (phase detection autofocus) and LED flash. It also has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera (f/2.4) for those all important video calls and selfies.

Root T Mobile Galaxy S5: Easy Method
Before starting, make sure that USB debugging is turned on in the “Developer’s Options” and “Unknown Sources” is allowed in “Security“. Battery should be at least 50% charged, if not, you may brick your phone.
Once in Recovery Mode, choose “Install” from the menu.
Select the zip file you transferred to the root folder of your phone.
Instructions will be shown on your phone and you have to follow them.
After the process completes, reboot your smartphone by choosing “Reboot System Now” from the menu.
You just have rooted your T Mobile Galaxy S5. If you encounter a “boot loop“, go back to Recovery Mode and choose “Wipe Cache Partition” and “Wipe Data Factory Reset” then do the rooting procedure again. You will lose all your data but you can restore your phone with the backup you previously made.
