Backup Notes On iPhone: 3 Easy Methods – Apple’s iPhone is now on its 9th iteration and a new one, the iPhone 7, is coming very soon. The very first iPhone was released to the public on June 29, 2007 and it was a big success for the Cupertino company.
The late Steve Jobs made sure that the iPhone would be the standard that other mobile phones will be measured against and he succeeded in doing this. Today, the iPhone remains the most-loved mobile device not only by Apple fanboys and fangirls, but by almost anyone who uses a smartphone.
If you have been using your iPhone for quite some time now, you probably have a lot of Notes saved on your device. Not only do these notes take precious space on your mobile but if something unfortunate happens to your iPhone (like when you drop it and it breaks, or it gets stolen), then you will lose all your important notes that you painstakingly saved on your mobile.
For this article, we are going to show you how to backup notes on iPhone using three easy methods that anyone can do. We will be using iCloud, an email client, and an app to backup notes on iPhone.
Backup Notes On iPhone: Use iCloud
The most convenient way to backup notes on iPhone is by using iCloud. This way, you will have access to all your notes wherever you are as long as you have internet connection. Also, since iCloud is free, you won’t have to spend a cent to save your notes to the cloud. Just follow our simple procedure below to get your iPhone notes to iCloud.
From the “Settings” app, choose “iCloud”.
You will be prompted for your Apple ID and Password. Enter them.
After this, you must set the “Notes” toggle to “On”.
Choose “Documents & Data” and set the same to “On”.
Touch the “iCloud” button.
Find and select the “Storage & Backup” option by scrolling down.
Toggle the “iCloud” switch to “On”.
Select “Back Up Now” to start the process.
Now you have backed-up your Notes to iCloud!
Backup Notes On iPhone: Use Outlook
For this second method, we will use a popular email client/app to backup notes on iPhone. We will use Outlook from Microsoft (both for Windows and Mac) to save your iPhone notes to your computer.
Using iTunes and Outlook to Backup Notes on iPhone
The procedure is below.
Using the USB cable, connect your iPhone to your computer.
On the left sidebar, choose your iPhone and select “Info” (See above picture).
On the right side panel, click “Sync Notes With” and then choose “Outlook” in the drop down menu.
Click “Apply” and the syncing process will start.
After the process is completed, your “Notes” can be found in the “Reminders” folder in your Outlook account.
With this procedure, you can quickly find your Notes and read them easily whenever you want.
Backup Notes On iPhone: Use iPhone Note Recovery Program
This last method will use a particular software (we do not actually promote one) but for the sake of this article, we will use it here. Leawo iOS Data Recovery is a program that lets you manage all your iPhone data including your all important Notes.
